Fear Factory Ghost Hunt

Over a year ago, we did an EVP session in the house we lived in near the University. We'd hear footsteps, seen doors open and close with no breeze. We'd seen all kinds of weird things in the 20 years we'd lived there. The recordings proved to be pretty active, so I joined a paranormal meetup group.

I love participating in the various Meetup.com groups I belong to. I don't have time to do a lot, but I do like it when I have the time. In mid-February, Eric and I went to the Fear Factory with a paranormal meetup group. It was my first time participating...and it was......interesting. The Fear Factory is an old cement factory that has been converted into a haunted house, so a lot of the Halloween decor remains through the year, which, of course, adds to the weirdness of being there.

There were some "sensitives" with each of the groups. These "sensitives" can feel where there are spirits and other emotions. I was (and remain) a skeptic of these sensitives. I would have been more of a believer had the one main lady not said what she said in one of the rooms we were investigating.

I told the group that I felt like we were being watched. It was eerie to feel eyes on you and not see anything. She told me, "there are a lot of eyes on us." Then she told me, "They aren't spirits, though. They are ugly and not human spirits." She very much implied demons...which, frankly, I didn't believe and what little buy-in I had, went right out the door.

Later in the evening, the organizer split us all up again and had us each go out by ourselves to explore. We each had one person with us to make sure we didn't get lost, but it was on each person to direct their own way through the questions and feelings they had for themselves. This is where I had the most fun.

There was one area that everybody was talking about that they'd seen and heard things....me? nothing...I paused and waited. I asked questions. Nothing. So we moved on.

There were several times I felt like there was something there...at one point I heard someone walking on a metal catwalk but that was about it.

My recordings had nothing on them. But my pictures had some odd things...nothing definitive, but odd.

Here are some of the random pictures I took as we wandered.
During our first break:
Used in the haunted house:

Here's the catwalk. These two pictures were taken back to back, in quick succession, about 1/8 to 1/4 of a second apart.  The first picture has 'dust particles' and it looks thick. The next picture is clear of those dust particles.  Many have looked at the picture and think it looks like orbs....meh, I don't know. It is odd, though.

This was taken, turning back down the catwalk from the other side.
Even though not a lot happened for me, it was a fun night.
