Concord and Autumn Leaves

On a rainy day (incidentally) we went in search of the famous autumn leaves to be found in Massachusetts. We found our bridges and leaves and other signs of autumn. The rain made for a less than perfect adventure but we had fun searching the country side.
We found a stand selling fruits and vegetables and purchased a "3-mile high apple pie" and cheese and apple cider. We turned in a little early and hoped to take a nice warm shower and were frustrated and, I venture to say, even irritated, to find cold water for a 2nd day in the house. No warm water.  Grrrrrrr.

We sat down at the table and ate sandwiches and delicious apple cider.
