Halloween On The Web

Last year I posted some Halloween games to play during down time (at work). I found some more games to play:

Creepy Coloring
Color various Halloween images

Halloween Tic-Tac-Toe

Caverns of Blood
1. hit the pumpkin as far as you can.
2. click the skeleton, and the pumpkin will drop from the tree to be hit.
3. click the skeleton again to swing at the pumpkin.

Ready to go:
oops! missed!
Got him! The pumpkin hurls through the air...the witch flies with it.
ooooo! 469.6! I don't know what that means (feet, yards, meters, inches?) but it's my score! Go me!

Halloween Mahjong
It's hard to tell where there is an outside edge...where are the layers? I usually end up hitting the "hint" button just so I can tell.
I didn't win...so sad:

Blend the Witches Brew
1. see the recipe on the left side of the screen
watch out for the ones that call for 2 of the same ingredient.
2. click on the ingredient and it will go into the blender.
3. put in the wrong ingredient and you be given a new recipe to begin again.
4. to refill the plate with an ingredient, click on the jar above

Oops! I made too many mistakes:
Halloween Dress Up

Bubble-Ween
This is just the beginning! There are SO many online Halloween games to play. I'm hoping to find some for Thanksgiving, too.

Friday Night Videos

I am struggling to stay awake tonight, so after hanging out on Facebook, it's time to add some videos to my blog. Here are the ones that caught my eye:

The movie Grease is iconic. And if you play video games (which I do), you know about Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, etc. I found this Lego Greace which made me smile:

How sweet is this video?!:

Ha ha ha ha! What a great movie:

I found this video a few months ago and it's very interesting.

Mad TV's Dot and ADD. LOL!

Last but not least: 40 Inspirational Movie Speaches in 2 minutes:

Friday Night Videos

Another round of the videos that have amused me and caught my attention in the last month:

So this week at the LDI (leadership development institute), we learned about Influencer from Vital Smarts. Our department went to a two day conference back in August and I learned so much. Thursday's training left me wanting more. One of the videos we watched at both of these trainings was this video about influencing people to change their behavior. I found it interesting and entertaining.

Another Vital Smarts video that makes me cry with laughter. I can't help it.

Very cleverly put together. I'm sure this took a ton of time (that I never seem to have in my own life).

I ran across this video a few weeks ago and just loved the message and the graphics.

One of my favorite scenes from any movie! I loved this movie when it came out (I was in junior high) and I still love it today.

Andrew Turns Five

Andrew turned five at the end of September. Here are my favorite pics from the night of his celebration.

When Richard was little, he would make this exact face whenever he was playing or concentrating. Nice to see that it's passed onto Andrew.
Marcus enjoys some cake and a game with Eric:
Andrew and his friend Jace (sp?) and his cousin Ella. Three five year old kids.
Blowing out the candles:
Collin busts up the pinata:
Cynthia always makes fun bday cakes for the kids:

A picture looking out from Richard's back yard. I loved the sunset reflecting so beautifully on the field.

Happy Employees

A couple of weeks ago, my director asked me to see if I could get some pictures of various hospital employees smiling while they work. She is creating a video that talks about how everyone makes a difference at the hospital. I love taking pictures, so I was all too happy to give it a go.

I spent one day and two evenings getting the shots I wanted and I was so pleased with the participation of the various employees. I have a ton of shots and would love to share them all, but will post the ones I loved, loved, loved:

This was by far my favorite picture. It was so candid and the OR was so awesome with me.
The OR group was AWESOME! They took me all over the OR for various shots that were my favorite shots of all my photo sessions.
Richard and a coworker. Everybody in the pulmonary lab treated me so well.
Me and Richard in the OR
I saw this guy pushing these two carts down the hallway with a smile on his face and I had to get his picture. He thought I was odd, but he stopped and let me take it.
One of my clinics is the Rehab clinic - we wanted to depict that we help our patients recover their strength.
I took a total 90 usable shots and I loved the experience. I really enjoyed meeting all of the employees working in various capacities throughout the hospital.
